Description
Got this small wireless FM transmitter the other day to play around with. Range with good quality voice was around 50feet for my test unit but would probably be better if I had a longer antennae. It could be used for security monitoring of a room, garage, empty building, etc. You simply place it your carport or whatever, apply power, and set the frequency to a dead spot on your FM radio. Then turn on another FM radio in your bedroom to the same unused channel–and now you’ll hopefully hear if someone starts breaking in and making noise in there. It’s around 10.00 US on Ebay, model DSP-DLL-FM-XMITR. This works better than other ones I’ve had in the past as this one you can set the exact frequency with the digital readout.
The green wire is the transmitting antennae. It can be also powered from a mini USB, but I like the direct wire method better as you can easily hook it up to a battery.
